Dr Smith has attended Bellevue Community College, The University of Washington and Seattle University where he graduated with a degree in Clinical Chemistry. He received his Medical Degree from The Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1981. Internship was done At St Joseph Medical Center thru New York Medical College in New York. Dr Smith did his residency with The University of Maryland and Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and graduated with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1986.
